In the Water 04:26
i'd like to see you one time without a voice on the other side i'd like to cool my own mind but it's got me following the tide suddenly i'm over in another dream across the room i'm amazed to find you standing there oh you never seem to come too soon got me in the water now i'm in up to my eyes everybody always talking about the low between the highest tides all i find's a waste of time when i go all the time it takes till i can be on my way back home so hold me now and show me and i'll never float away again i find a deeper ground below me when i thought that i was at the end and even when i'm drifting got to fight to keep the waves away yeah it's hard to see the shore sometimes i barely even have a say got me in the water now i drop in on your wave terrifying it's so easy to count up all that you've got left to save all i find's a waste of time when i go all the time it takes till i can be on my way back home looks like the perfect time to get old feels like the perfect time to be bought and bought and sold i'll get away just one more time and then i'll follow wherever you go i'm in the water baby i'm in the water baby i'm in the water again

i don't mind that i'm taking all my time looking for a state of mind that i'm never gonna find feed my soul it's better than the bullshit i've got expensive taste and i've got some time to waste and before they take my place i'm gonna have a little something to say guess they raised the stakes is that what it takes to feel alright to have a good life to feel cool now bring it back around again justify the time you spend oh my eyes been telling me one thing but the sky it tells me something else i don't mind that i'm taking all my time looking for a state of mind that i'm never gonna find feed my soul it's better than the bullshit free my soul it's better than the bullshit free my soul it's better than the bullshit free my soul it's better than the bullshit no time to waste guess they raised the stakes do you have what it takes to sleep all night you'll be a lookalike for somebody cool it's coming back around again say goodbye to all your friends when the world stops making you desperate i guess you'll probably drop dead from the respite

Until 04:16
thoughts like a river flow i can't ignore away doubts from another life hang on every word you say noise of a quiet night stranger in the light of day arrive in an open room already on the floor you used to think that everything was coming out of nothing but you don't believe it anymore i'm keeping both eyes open now i sleep all the time until i let myself fall down and crawl to the end close how it seems to be tiptoeing on the edge more than you've ever been hiding out inside your head down digging deeper still running out of room to grow you made the fatal mistake of thinking every other devil must be better than the one you know no reason to be excited about the ways of the wind until there's nothing left for you to scratch out a life i'll leave my final plans for the impending end until my head comes back and finally drags me away I spend a decade racing for an empty return until i watch my heart stumble out and take me to the sky a million second chances won't convince me to stay until i let my eyes come down and rip my heart away

Sparkle 03:36
took a week alone to see it the only way that it could be believed soon it turned back into nothing in a way i guess i feel relieved i'll let myself down slow i think i need it i don't know there's nothing on the screen what does it mean when they say it's bad believe them and if you stay you better look the part another perfect time for leaving another shot right through the heart now that's a start i'll come back down before i see it waiting at my door it's calling out my name what is it for turn my head and close my eyes i guess my happiness will come in waves parse my way across these lies i guess the future will appear in grey took a year alone to see it and give myself a little room to breathe i've been calling out for seasons but i don't know what i need
